Re: Canadian Academy Awards

Better Luck Next Year
Get home just in time for the 2010 canadian academy awards, the GENIES, http://www.genieawards.ca/ ....madelaine loses everything she’s nominated for as a pepsi flick called polytechnique, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polytechnique_(film) , basically sweeps the awards....i don’t even see blandi in the audience...and its the tackiest looking awards show u have ever seen, only highlighted by some women saying ‘fuck’ twice....the sad part about Canadian cinema is i’ve only seen a few of the movies and have not heard of most of the actors....plus there’s a pile of pepsi films that they must highlight in the name of national unity – even tho i’ll never see any of em...although i did read there is a new les boys in production, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Boys .....anyway, pretty embarrasing awards show, and i’m sad for aunt madelaine....

the movie only won for best costumes - in the part that takes place before the tv presentation begins....and madelaine was pissed because the old eskimo woman that won the award, will now rub it in madelaine's face....even eskimo's can be petty
