It was a mediocre action movie with a few fun fight scenes. the plot moved unevenly in my opinion and it actually felt like it should have been longer. the "3D" felt tacked-on as an afterthought so the movie theater could charge more $, unlike in Avatar you forgot there was 3D most of the time.

I don't get all these shitty 80s movie remakes (this, Tron, K. Kid, Nightmare on Elm St., etc etc). I'd much prefer shitty 80s music remakes.

It's an automatic. Tries to get you in as well as the younger kid hip to that whole eighties vibe, if often only ironically. I mean, what defined the eighties more than Harry Hamlin/Burgess Meredith action movies?
