Incredible picture--never fails to make me smile (I wouldn't mind if the cameraman was cropped out, but that's another matter). The guy to Jose's immediate left looks familiar. I hope he plays again soon.

I remembered it was Shawn Green because my son was at sleepaway camp that summer and included in the letters I would send him would be be Mets updates. That picture - or one very similar - was on the back page of the New York Post and I folded it up and sent it him in the envelope with my letter. He kept it and still has it hanging on his wall in room.

No control over the changeup, little control over the slider, according to Howie and GameDay. One-pitch pitchers tend to waste a lot of pitches.

I liked this message when I arrived at Citi Field yesterday - I had a chance to see Johan warming up - I didn't take a lot of pictures during the game because I was so cold. But I did take this one after Game 1 - My traveling companion and I only lasted into the 6th inning of Game 2 - we were just frozen by that time, and decided that we wanted to get back to NJ before midnight. But, bone-numbing cold aside, we had a great time at the games :)
