Yep. That innovative Joe Torre started his catcher at first and was rewarded with an RBI double in the first. Sadly, it didn't all work out in the end.

All this time I thought Eck was an original with his black hair and thin stache. But all's he's doin' is stealin' Ken Reitz's look from 1980.
