Studies which make the news despite merely confirming the obvious. Obese kids more vulnerable to bullies Thanks for that hard-hitting expose, CNN. Researchers also found that dating clothing, greasy hair, and picking your nose are not social assets.

wow. kids who are different get picked on more. who would ever have guessed that result. i wonder if there's also a study that shows that kids who are new to an area are also statistically more likely to get picked on. that would truly be groundbreaking. oe: also, since when do bullies care how well you do in school? fine, maybe having good social skills may make you less prone to being bullied because the bully may find himself outnumbered (but if all your friends are weird, the bully will bully them, too), but i really don't think the bullies care how well you're doing on your report card.

Luckily for the next generation, Agribusiness is working to get their hand into school lunch programs and solve this problem by making all children obese.
