If there is one common current that runs throughout all of humanity, it is that everyone Googles themselves all day, every day. No they don't. Languishing at a huge ad agency, Brownstein bought the names of his favorite creative directors on Google AdWords for 15 cents per click. Which meant whenever they Googled themselves, Brownstein's ad popped up ... Everyone but one of his targets called him, and today Brownstein works for Young & Rubicam, a fancy New York ad agency. So he did all this so he could turn his job at a "huge ad agency" into one at ... a huge ad agency.

I have a google alert set up for myself. well, for "ceetar" anyway. My name is way too common and requires all sorts of addidional parameters to google.

No they don't. He's being cute. It'd be great if Jerry Manuel googled himself and the first result was a page that said, "Hi, Jerry Manuel. Googling yourself is fun! Know what else is fun? Not bunting. Here's some other tips for winning baseball."

There's a term for that.. and we should get in on it now so that that is the first result. Google bombing maybe? For a while the first result for "Miserable Failure" was Bush's bio page.
