Who can go run 'em down in those vast expanses? Get on your horse and choose two.

I'm trying so hard not to vote for Mookie, but how can I vote against Mookie.

Also, Doug Glanville's years as a Cub (1996-97, 2003) don't count but his years as Phillie (1998-2002, 2004) do.

Well, Mookie & Glanville make the all-time nice guys team.

Fixed. Thanks.

This was tougher than I expected.

But I see Dawson is not on the right field list so he gets my nod here.
And Andruw Jones gets it over Beltran I'm afraid.
At this point I can't do any projecting for Carlos.

Dawson and Jones... This looks like the NL East's weakest position historically.

Me too... Jones and Dawson.

Dawson was a hell of a center fielder.

It's the pudgy little Dutch dude to back up/platoon. (Sorry, Mookie.)

I voted here before I saw the right field list(Only been around the infield so far), so Dawson was a right fielder to me.
Whether Dawson was there or not, I voted for Al Oliver.
He's a borderline HOF-er, and if he won't ever get enough votes there, he got mine here.

I kind of suspected Von Hayes to be here.

I think he and Oliver share the blessing of versatility that works as a handicap in such votes.

I kind of suspect that I forgot to type Von Hayes' name onto the ballot.

Beltran's closer than you may think. Or at least, he should be.

Dawson's WAR in the CF years (100-plus games):

1977: 3.8
1978: 4.3
1979: 3.8
1980: 6.1
1981: 6.9
1982: 7.3
1983: 6.7

Beltran's WAR in the Met years:

2005: 2.2
2006: 7.5
2007: 5.1
2008: 7.1
2009: 3.1 (half-season)
