Great Mets Draft selections from Free Agent pickup Trivia

From the Countdown to 400 and 300 thread: ]Jones, IIRC, was more like a 'B' or 'C' which meant only the supplemental pick to the Mets. Great for us since it that pick became David Wright but it was no skin off the signing team's nose. Jones himself was a supplemental pick for the Mets Who was the Free Agent that would eventually lead to the drafting of Bobby Jones, and in a round about way, the drafting of David Wright?

It was Hampton, not Jones, that became Wright. My bad.
