Newest Ex-Metsfan
SwitchHitter Oct 05 2005 01:23 AM |
First, let me explain that I'm not responsible. That may be the source of the problem. I don't know how to care for and nurture a Mets fan. I thought it was important, but not more important than my being a fan. So we didn't watch those few games on WPIX--we watched my games instead. So if you asked her to name some Mets, she'd be lucky to name two. And with her Met going elsewhere, she has no reason, in her mind, to be a Mets fan anymore.

Of course you'll always be welcome here. You've always been a valued contributor to our little corner of the world. Don't see any reason for that to end.

Ask her to visit, we'll give her 100 other good reasons.

Don't leave Annie. Variety adds to the overall quality of the discussions on the forum. We have a bandwagon Red Sox fan, an intelligent Yankee fan, (I thought that was an oxymoron until I "met" silverdsl), and you're our Atros fan. We all share a common bond in our love of the great game of baseball.

Yup. Silverdsl, not to be mistaken with Siler Surfer, is the lady Yankee fan of the forum.
