Who knows where to post stuff but he said in the IGT that
his Mom has passed. My heartfelt condolences, Chris.

Aw man Wolf.

You know that I feel for you.
No matter how that happens or how long she lived,
the loss is the worst loss in life.
The worst.

My heart goes out to you.

Thanks, everyone. Sadly, my mom had a lot of issues that she just never wanted to beat. I think we all knew we'd get that phone call some day.

This....wow Chris, that was very brave of you to share. I think it also shows that even when you have the best possible support(you and your sis) that in the end the person who has the problem is the one that needs to take the steps to beat it. Rehab is not easy , in fact despite all the great help available it can be quite horrible , still some people see it as a first chance at a new way of life and some see it as a break from the current life......it's hard though.

Thanks for sharing Chris, that was something.

Nicely written and I agree that it's brave to put stuff like that in
print for all to see. I was around your age when I lost my Mom so
I know it's tough to see them go before their time and knowing that
if they played some of life's cards differently than maybe they'd still
be around. Best again to you and your family.

Wolf, I don't blog on either the giving or receiving end, but I went and read that
and I have to say it was not only touching, but eye opening to me on a personal level.

Thanx for sharing that.

I envy your ability to draw meaning-- and a strange sort of sustenance-- from such a difficult relationship, and am so very appreciative that you shared what you did in the way that you did.

So sorry.
