Mets at home to Twins from Minny-- Per request, here is the skinny. Behind the plate, we have Joe Mauer: Hits for average and power. At first base, it's Justin Morneau, He's so good, he could be porno. Second base, Orlando Hudson, Coulda been a Met, but was'n'. Lately, he's been hot as Gable, While Met counterpart's disabled. And at shortstop, JJ Hardy, Not the life of Minny's party, Not much bat, and not much range, Why'd they get him? It seems strange, Still, the Northland's where his home is, Dealt for ex-Met Carlos Gomez. The hot corner? Nicky Punto "Cause they have to, 'stead of want to. Not a monster, Delmon Young, But now and then the ball gets stung. Stolen base for Denard Span? If he gets to first, he can. In right field, it's Michael Cuddyer -- 'Bout as good as any other. Still, don't take this as derision -- Twins are leading their division. Starting pitching has been slumping, Opposition has been thumping, Friday's guy is Kevin Slowey, ERA is far from showy. Is there one that they can trust? Saturday, a Yankee bust, Now he kills like T. Soprano: I refer to Carl Pavano -- Maybe not an all-time great, But his WHIP is 1.08. Sunday shows us Scottie Baker -- Hasn't looked sharp -- Mets should take 'er. They've a skipper to admire, Ex-Met Ronald Gardenhire. Some say that their league is stronger, But perhaps that's true no longer: Bullpen suspect, bench not deep: I predict the Mets will sweep.

Great job. When the pressure is on for a new twist on the KTE, Mole relies on what he does best. But I want to find out what song those lyrics go to. Later
