CPF Outing ... no, not that ...

Kong76
Jul 04 2010 09:52 AM

... we've known that for years!

metfairy has been kind enough to offer to get a block of tickets for the
8/26 game against the Florida Stinkyfish for a group meet up. Cutting and
pasting from the 'going to the game' thread -- for $30 you get pre-game
drinks, and appetizer, a game ticket, and a coupon for a post-game drink
at the now infamous McFadden's at Shea Sponsored by Citi Field.

Chime in here as soon as possible, I'm sure time is running out on the offer.
If interested please give head count w/ # of people in your party, or PM either
metfairy or myself.

And yes - I'd say let's try to get a head count by 7/12 so I can place an order and get a block of tickets for the game.

Re: CPF Outing ... no, not that ...

OK - here's the deal. I just played around on the McFadden's site. Ten seems to be the maximum number of tickets that one can purchase for this event, so I just went ahead and bought ten. It came to $320 with processing costs, so anyone who is going owes me $32 per ticket.

I have two more tickets in my block; if the number of participants exceeds ten, then someone else will need to purchase the next block of tickets.

Since I haven't heard from Ashie, I'm assuming he's not interested. The next two people who affirmatively want in will be my 9 and 10.
