Jerry suggested on the post game last night that Bay would sit.

Hey GEICO, I want to punch the soccer announcer right in his cockbag.

Wright thrown out stealing and it wasn't really close.

Generous strike zone, too, it seems.

Didn't help him finish Kemp, though.

Re: IGT 7/22/10 NYM @ LAD: Out of the Ravine

Hey, remember when the Mets used to see, like, more than 2 or 3 pitches per at-bat... at least the first time through?

Yeah, me neither.

If they're smaller than 10" by 15" by 6", and don't contain any liquids.

chess isn't even a sport. besides, i think it would be more fun if he called a golf game. maybe bowling.

not to imply that those are really sports... but they're more of it than chess.

Tak cruising, but losing.

Bucket, you should probably just lay your head down... the bats, they are not healing-conducive.

The same old biographical details of Mets players come out as profound and inspired from Vin Scully.

"The Mets inDEED have an "Angel" in the outfield in Angel Pagan."

Re: IGT 7/22/10 NYM @ LAD: Out of the Ravine

Blake makes a ridiculous over-the-shoulder catch to rob Ike of a bloop single.

Belliard not quite so lucky with Francoeur's.

I did see the ball to the wall in the first.
Francoeur got all turned around and he should have played that in a way that enabled him to catch it.

Re: IGT 7/22/10 NYM @ LAD: Out of the Ravine

Omar was hanging around the dugout pregame - the first sighting of him I've seen this trip. Don't know if there's anything to read into that but he team obviously needs some sort of kick on the ass.

Not much worth saying about the game but everybody already knows that. Off to live it up/drown sorrows on the Sunset Strip.

Re: IGT 7/22/10 NYM @ LAD: Out of the Ravine

Yeah, Jerry's DNA is all over that crime scene. I compare him to J.J. Putz as far as the biggest notches on Jerry's gun.

Re: IGT 7/22/10 NYM @ LAD: Out of the Ravine

Well, to be fair... he's been bad for a much longer stretch of his career than he's ever been good. So, unlike with Putz, there may not have been much value for Jerry to break.
