I'm not even saying it's all bad.
But I'll just touch on this:
I respect loyalty, I commend it, but if you just blindly expect everyone to be able to do their job
the way a storybook would have it go, your cruisin for a bruisin.

Wish in one hand and manage with the other.

It's very possible Jerry has all the parts he's gonna get (barring minor moves) and he's
gonna have to use these parts correctly more often than not.
Not just think, well, this guy does this so I'll put him in here and he should do that.
Think more outside the box Jerry, or Joepets gonna put you in one.

I shouldn't be getting on Jerry's case though.
Not when the team is hitting like worse than shit.

I kinda didn't even want to mention it, but that's EXACTLY what it reminded me of. It took him ten seconds or so just to get himself together after that one, and he can't have gotten much rest/much of a checkup during the last half-inning.

The hope here is that Wright hits a lazy fly ball out deep enough to score the runner from third but not good enough for a hit. Because if Wright homers, the play caller looks like a jackass for using Pagan to sac bunt. If Wright homers, they woulda all likely scored anyway.

I have screen shots of that and all the great plays in this game.
Eventually I'll add them here.

There has been alot of great games, great streaks and whatnot this season.
I haven't seen all of the games.
But I saw this one and it was the most exciting game I've seen so far this year.
It had a strange air of postish seasonish baseball in its urgency.
Maybe this most recent boooooooring string of games has something to do with this.
I'm a big fan of great catches and plays in the field, so I'm sure this being
the most exciting game so far is a debatable thing.
