Re: OOTS, weekend of July 24

The end of Yankee game had some drama and fizzle. They had two
men on down 7-4 in the bottom of the ninth and (I forget who) almost
walked with ARoid up for the walk-off win and, ya know, that other thing.
Guy (I forget who) was thrown out at first but was really safe on the replay.

Can you imagine Michael soiling himself on air if ARoid hit his 600th phony HR
in walk off style in The House That Kay Built?

Ubaldo not quite having a Pelfrey 1st half/2nd half - but definitely a decided difference
Josh Johnson in Florida must now have the inside track on the CY award.

Joachim Soria was the KC closer.
He got the first two outs but then Jeter doubled and he walked Granderson.
Then Teixeira - who had already HR'd twice in the game - hit a slow roller to SS which ended the game on a bang-bang at 1st with Alex of Rodrigia on deck and having to wait until tomorrow.

This was the Yanx first go-round w/o Pettitte and the replacement, Sergio Mitre, got hit around for like 6 in the first few innings.
