Looks like the Mets should get a chance to help Johan's cause by beating on Wainwright on Tuesday.

Updated stats. This month, Dickey's 0-3 with a 1.89 ERA.

Dickey at 0-3. Wow. Dickey's probably one of the NL's ten best pitchers this season. Because there are 16 teams in the NL, I suppose one could refer to Dickey as an ace pitcher: At least six NL teams don't have a starting pitcher pitching as good as Dickey is. Tak will be skipped this week, so Johan will pitch tonight (Wednesday) and Dickey tomorrow, followed by Pelf on Friday. The Mets offense did their job against Wainwright. Time for Johan to sew this thing up.
