Is this game in Filly? Every base hit by the Turnpike DB's, receives way too much applause.

Re: IGT - Phils @ Mets -- Sat 8/14

The phucking Phils haven't hit a ball hard yet.
Every hit has been soft or a 'tweener' and the rest of them the NYM phielders are phucking up.

Misch deserves better.

Re: IGT - Phils @ Mets -- Sat 8/14

I don't like what I've been seeing from Wright in the field playing third lately
This is aside from tonights total fuck up on a very crucial grounder that was not a difficult ball to play properly.

On any average to hard hit ground balls right to him (not on slow hit grounders or line drives), he is always backing off these while fielding them. I played third base for years, and, unless a bad hop is involved, you should never be going backwards off your heels while fielding a grounder. You can do many things to make sure you don't do this, like going to one knee or taking one step foward with one foot and planting yourself there, but you should either be rooted in place, feet wise, or going foward when you take possession of that grounder.

I don't think I have ever noticed David doing this before this season, but I have seen him do it ALOT this season on grounders right to him.

Tonights horrid error was a different deal, and very well described and explained by Ron Darling as to all the things he did wrong.

oo, two on in the 9th. Ike up.

Daybidrye's got his head up his ass lately. I was listening on the radio and could see him flailing at Halladay's stuff. Plus a lazy error, plus the Timogagging on Beltran's double last night.

He deserves a big throaty boo and a night batting seventh.
