Re: Red Cross

I've been meaning to donate blood. I thought this in late March and then I thought "hey, sometimes they give free Mets tickets for donating, I should do that." and then I did neither. (couldn't make it to Citi during the blood drives since they're weekdays.)

Re: Red Cross

Well done Cooby :)

They stopped excepting my blood from that time we had the foot and mouth scare in Ireland and Britain.

Re: Red Cross

I've actually fainted after giving blood. Twice. But D-Dad donates regularly (he has great veins).

I might as well just send it to you :) The nearest Friendly's to my house is not within not-melting-on-the-way-home distance

Re: Red Cross

I gave several times while I was in college and then when I first moved to North Carolina. For some reason, I just seemed to fall out the habit and didn't give for several years. I started back when my church started hosting Red Cross blood drives on a quarterly basis. I generally give 3-4 times a year now.
