Wow ... rules, rules, rules

Found this looking for something ... it has nothing to do with
this forum I just found it terribly amusing ...

TREAT ALL POSTERS WITH RESPECT

Refrain from expressing a condescending or arrogant tone that may offend a fellow poster.

Do not make personal attacks on someone because of their stance on a subject. All posters have the right to voice their opinions.

Do not insult another poster because of typos or spelling mistakes. Simply ignore the typo.

If you have an issue with a post or poster, use the “Report This Post” capability to alert the Moderators. Do not take matters into your own hands.

DO NOT BE A NUISANCE

Do not use this board to complain about or advertise other baseball fan site bulletin boards.

If you decide to no longer post at xxxxxxxx.xxx or in a specific forum, do not publicize it.

While this is a Mets board we welcome fans of all teams to post with us. Bad-mouthing the Mets, their organization, Mets fans, other teams and their fans, xxxxxxxx.xxx or the members of xxxxxxxx.xxx, simply to irritate fellow posters will not be tolerated.

Do not create multiple threads on a single topic. Once a thread has been locked or deleted because of arguments, do not continue the argument in another thread.

Over use of the "report this post" function will not be tolerated. Use the ignore function when necessary.

Signatures must be kept short – less than two inches from top to bottom on a standard seventeen inch monitor at 1024X768. They should also not be excessively long from left to right, making the page drag. Political comments, as well as comments of an adult nature, are not allowed in signatures. Advertising a business in a signature is allowed after a request is made to the administrators and a review is completed.

Do not post “Shout out” threads. If you find it necessary to contact another poster, please do it privately via Private Message or e-mail.

Do not bump threads simply because you feel that no one is reading it.

Do not create multiple user names. Only the initial user name will be allowed and all others will be deleted. If you wish to change your user name, please contact an Administrator.

A user name that has no activity for a period of 1 year or longer may be inactivated or deleted.

Anyone caught breaking these rules spends a night in the box.

TREAT ALL POSTERS WITH RESPECT --- Oh fuck off!

Refrain from expressing a condescending or arrogant tone that may offend a fellow poster. -- See above

Do not make personal attacks on someone because of their stance on a subject. All posters have the right to voice their opinions. -- And I have the right to tell them their idiotic opinions are stupid

Do not insult another poster because of typos or spelling mistakes. Simply ignore the typo. -- What? The whole point of catching typos is to make fun of them!

If you have an issue with a post or poster, use the “Report This Post” capability to alert the Moderators. Do not take matters into your own hands. -- So that bomb-making course I'm taking should just go to waste?

DO NOT BE A NUISANCE -- But that's my whole raison d'etre

Do not use this board to complain about or advertise other baseball fan site bulletin boards. -- Oh fuck them!

-- I bet that fucking Jeff Wilpon put you up to this one

Do not create multiple threads on a single topic. Once a thread has been locked or deleted because of arguments, do not continue the argument in another thread. -- Can I continue it in another dark alley?

Over use of the "report this post" function will not be tolerated. Use the ignore function when necessary. -- Like for rules and stuff?

Signatures must be kept short – less than two inches from top to bottom on a standard seventeen inch monitor at 1024X768. They should also not be excessively long from left to right, making the page drag. Political comments, as well as comments of an adult nature, are not allowed in signatures. Advertising a business in a signature is allowed after a request is made to the administrators and a review is completed. -- OK, I actually like this one

Do not post “Shout out” threads. If you find it necessary to contact another poster, please do it privately via Private Message or e-mail. -- I'd like to send this rule out to all my homies out there

Do not bump threads simply because you feel that no one is reading it. -- How 'bout if no one is reading your rules?

Do not create multiple user names. Only the initial user name will be allowed and all others will be deleted. If you wish to change your user name, please contact an Administrator. -- But then how will all my multiple personalities post?

"Wow" is right.
The admins of that board must be so tight, you couldn't pull a needle out of their ass with a tractor.
Oh wait!
I think that violated at least one of their rules.

That must be a real fun place.
