Some writers at other papers who can't give Omar any credit probably wouldn't like that article. The organization did a really good job in that draft.

Reminds me of the early 80s, when we had not much to do but look forward to Mookie, Hubie, Dwight, Darryl, and the stories were about them.

Those were good days. And I remember when Doc came along and totally rejuvenated my interest in baseball cards. Maybe everyones interest. His Topps rookie card was such a blah looking card but I remember when I opened a pack and it was in there I felt like I won the lottery, or just found one of Willie Wonka's golden tickets.
