I love Sun Chips. Helpfully they are sold near me in a 20 pack of one ounce packages, easy to throw in as a side with my lunchtime sandwich. Which Sun Chip reigns supreme? Not counting the sweet ones or limited time varieties...

There's no such thing as a bad Sun Chip, but I chose cheddar because cheese makes everything better.

I forgot about them because they aren't included in the variety pack. I love them all, but I think I like the Salsa ones best and the French Onion a close second.

The consumer packaged goods industry is crazy about this product since it somehow fused the idea of eating crappy shit out of a single-serve bag and saving the earth. I read somewhere that their new biodegradable bag makes a crinkly sound slightly louder than Metallica. Anyway, Cheddar for me.

additionally, I took a picture of Schaefer beer in the grocery store the other day because of this place. (couldn't lower myself to buy it though) At a recent conference, a local bar had cans of Schaefer--$1.50-- and that was overpriced. Was my Dad's beer of choice-- hell I buried him with some, so I had to have a few in his memory.

What is this Sun Chip? Does it come in pictures? The Sun Chip marketing would dissuade me from trying it. The chip reminds me of a Dipsy Doodle. And when I see the word "multigrain", I think to myself: "healthy". Meaning crappy tasting.

I think that's the point-- like Vitamin Water, they're marketing to people who like to think they're making a healthy/-ier choice. That said, they's good chips. Dipsy Doodles, but tastier, and with the flavor dust and-- now-- an obscenely-loud bag.
