I've used it , I have had a google # for months now too. Calls to Ireland are only 2c a minute. I was able to dump AT&T's stupid connection fee and high per minute costs.

US and Canada are free, not that I know anyone in Canada.

If you need a google number invite I can send you one....unless it's totally open now. Several things I like about it....one is that I can send numbers straight to a "the google voice mail subscriber you called is not available" and if I mark any # as spam it gets a " this number not in service " message.

I just discovered the phone the other day. I figure it can't hurt to have an extra line available for those rare times that I need to keep the land line open (like when I'm house hostage, waiting for a repairman to call).
