We enter a battle of comparable opponents with this lineup:

Angel Pagan RF
Luis Hernandez 2B
Carlos Beltran CF
David Wright 3B
Ike Davis 1B
Lucas Duda LF
Henry Blanco C
Ruben Tejada SS
Dillon Gee RHP

Comparable opponents? I think we can do something to level the playing field..

Pagan, Hernandez, Beltran, Davis, Hessman, Duda, Blanco, Tejada and Gee

Wright hurt his finger sliding into second base yesterday. This is why you always bunt. if you bunt, it prevents players from having to slide. Prevention and recovery!

I took the Citi Field tour on Sunday and saw that sign outside the Met clubhouse and laughed out loud.

Too bad about David, but any opportunity to see more Mike Hessman is a bonus.

Feel the ire of Dre and Snoop for passing on the obvious IGT title.

You know, I was all set to take the tour on Saturday. logged on to the site last week to find the next tour available was October. the tour's are more crowded than the games!

Hessman pass Jacobs for HR on the season yet?

Re: IGT 9/7/10 NYM @ WAS: Gee, Good to Meet You

Hessman and Jacobs still locked in a 1-1 duel.

I tried buying tickets for the tour in July and couldn't get two for the same desired time frame until September. I think the limit per tour is 20, so that should be comparable to what they draw for the Pirate series.

I'll go in the offseason I suppose.

I was considering 'splurging' for tickets to the Pirate series and hanging out in the Caesar's Club, or maybe eating an overpriced dinner in the Acela Club. Hopefully *sorta anyway* it'll be the cheapest Mets tickets on Stub Hub for a long long while.

I'm impressed that the Mets still have a rotation, not just one of those pull up to the Home Depot parking lot and see who's willing to pitch scenarios.

Gary finds it "unfathomable" that low pitch count debut of Dillon Gee is now over.
