Mejia - A Cute Strain

Which is I suppose better than an ugly strain.

Anyway, that's what they're saying about Mejia: an acute strain of a muscle in the back of his shoulder.
MRI to follow, yadda, yadda, yadda

After last season, and the second half of this one I'm starting to think the majority of Mets are made of fragile glass.

Shoulder strain. It begins. Or, rather, I suppose, it never ends.

All of a sudden, between the last few seasons, the current leadership/ownership and this, Section 538's looking very tempting.

[amateur medical diagnosis]The rhomboid - and, yes, it's so named because of its rhombus-like shape - is one of the bigger muscles near the top of the back. The good news is that it (unlike Johan's deal) is not part of the more complicated inner workings of the shoulder and, once healed, shouldn't have any effect on his throwing ability.[/amateur medical diagnosis]
