I use CuteFTP. It's not free, but it's not expensive either. I think I paid $30 for it. I've been using it for over ten years, and upgraded it once. (I'm currently using version 8.)

I have tons of techie software but nothing for FTP. I'm sharing folders across my network using samba instead, much easier.

Agreed. I like textpad as my simple text editor too. does regex, search and replace, parens and all that fun stuff.
