10 Most Awesome Things Ever

Jason Isbell (Drive-By Truckers/Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit) posted this pic last night, with this caption: "we've isolated the 10 most awesome things ever" Very solid list, 7 to 9 of those could make my top 10, and a few I will steal for sure. But tampons?? Huh. What are your 10 Most Awesome Things Ever? What's your head-scratching 'tampon' answer? Please keep with the spirit of the original, which seems to be stupid, funny, and off-the-cuff (but deadly serious), and please put them in descending order. Here are mine: 10) surfing 9) grizzly bears 8) burritos (my 'tampon answer' maybe, but what beats a perfect burrito?? answer=nothing.) 7) airplanes 6) satellite radio 5) coffeecoffeecoffee 4) mets baseball games 3) beer/bourbon/margyritas 2) chixxx/sexy time intercourse/vajeng 1) sweaty, loud, dancy, rocking rock concerts NOW!!!! you! GO!

Back in college, the hipster/burnout frat on campus hosted yearly, daylong "Human Barbecue" concerts/parties in its house and backyard, and it had famously had the Dead Kennedys break through the floor one year in the early eighties. If drunk enough, and with a loud enough band, I usually bounced around in the middle of the floor anyway, but it was a wary lil' pogo.
