Kwik Kwiz

Two Mets finished first and second in the NL in one offensive category during 2010.

Without looking it up (natch) and with ONLY ONE GUESS PER CRANEPOOLER, gimmee the category, and the two players, in the correct order. I will reveal the answer and shower the winner with prizes just prior to the explosive Press Conference Action this afternoon.

Doubles, Wright and Pagan.

I bet we led the league in grand slams allowed, which is pretty damn offensive!

Utley was the three time defending champion in this category, sadly he only got 115 games this year, so he's not the leader this year.

HbPs and missed games eventually tend to correlate.

Re: Kwik Kwiz

Time's up and I'm afarid nobody won the Grand Prize.

However, Ben Grimm came awful close, getting the category and one of the leaders correct.

The answer was sacrifice flies and the NL leader was David Wright, with 12. In second place? Jeff Francoeur with 10.

Thanks for playing!

Re: Kwik Kwiz

In part, an off-brand byproduct of all the non-grand-slams the team got.
