10/10/10's Simpsons episode was entitled Moneybart.

Lisa, prompted to learn sabermetrics from the Springfield nerds, is the manager of Bart's Isotots little league team uses spray charts and stats to help the team rise to a championship game.

Was a pretty good episodes, probably because there were all sorts of baseball references that amused me. Mike Scoscia appears on an episode for the first time since 1992. (When he was a player!)

There is reference to the '69 Mets, and Ron Swoboda.

Re: Moneybart

Semi-on topic:

I recently stumbled across a rerun of that Futurama episode that shows Shea Stadium in the 31st Century with the sign "Home of the 1969 and 1986 World Champions" out front.

Well duh - those 1,000 other championships were won at Citi Field!

Re: Moneybart

Recent reference to the Mets on Family Guy. Pretty funny.

And an older reference(I think can make out Piazza and Al Leiter in that heap.)
