I have no rooting interest, just hoping for seven great games.

I voted the middle category.

All I know is that I'll be rooting for the American League team in the World Series, whatever the matchup. I like both the Angels and White Sox more than I do the Astros or Cardinals.

My 12-year-old has been a Cardinals fan for most of his life. Thus, with no other horses in this race, I'm rooting for the Cards.

You don't have to ask.

But I don't hate the Cards like I hate the Braves.

Cardinals, for the same reason as the White Sox.

Mildly Houston. As our expansion buddies they deserve to get to the WS at least once.

Mildly Astros. Houston is my adopted hometown, and I really don't like LaRussa.

I can't root for the Astros because Roger Clemens is one of my all-time least favorite players.

Slight edge to St. Louis: At this point, we may as well them cash in on having built a great team.

Houston still employs Roger Clemens and like all teams that load up on veterans in an attempt to win it all just once, they probably won't.

Their lineup is just awful, by the way.
