I looked outside and there was this large ball of fire in the skies! It looks like a nuclear weap...., er, ..., never mind. Its the sun. Been so long I'd forgotten what it was like. Did everybody stay dry? Yesterday someone I know asked if I was sick because I looked red/ flushed. I told her I thought it must be rust. Later

Beautiful day today, a few remaining clouds, a little breezy, but it was nice to open the windows again. Bought some pumpkins, always one of my favorite fall activities!

We bought pumpkins today too or - as my 4 year-old calls them - 'punkmans'.

We're under attack here today - at last. While some fear this gigantic nuclear furnace in the sky, most find its warmth and rays of light to be pleasing and are turning to its side.
