Yup - tonight was the Marching Band Dinner. MK received his varsity letters and received several awards, including the prestigious Rookie of the Year award. Many people - adults and fellow band members - made a point of telling me how enthusiastic he is and how much they enjoy having him in the band.
I'm always proud of that kid. But tonight I'm even a little prouder than usual.
