David Weathers probably had the most positive impact as a big-league Met. Stinnett had a career ahead of him still, if not much with the Mets.

Roger Cedeno was the worst of these moves easily. A joke the day it was made.

Signed the same day.

Has any team ever loaded up on empty calories like the 2001-2002 Mets? I guess their 1991-1992 older cousins, but man.

And now they'll have all that dough falling off the payroll in 2011-2012 for the Horribly Coutnerproductive Decennial Spending Orgy.
