86 x 25

Got another reunion year coming up in 11. They had an on-field gathering five years ago, so they may skip it in lieu of sticking to reunions ending in zero, but Lenny's been able to stay one step ahead of the jailer and Frank Cashen has been able to stay on the planet, and that may be hard to claim five years from now.

Prediction: they throw a reunion, and they make Nelson Doublday a centerpiece of it, possibly including his induction into the Mets Hall of Fame.

Do you think it would have been announced by now?

I haven't been paying attention. Has a promotional calendar been established?

This is a joke, right? I think maybe as owners the McCourts got along worse, but prolly not many more.

Hey, you predicted Hessman's homer on August 13. You gotta bet high to win high.

No. They usually don't announce it until shortly before tickets go on sale, ie. late February/early March.

The 35th anniversary of Mickey Lolich's season in a Mets uniform obviously takes precedence.

Fuck Doubleday........Fred uses the occasion to announce that he is stepping aside and Jeffrey will assume control as Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer.

Gooden wears an even more ill fitting suit than the last time , Strawberry wears a tee-shirt from his restaurant.

Nelson could hold his own 1986 celebration at his estate. He's got the scratch.
