In the 80's, the Mets had a fastballer nicknamed Doc. Now, the Mets have a knuckleballer who shares a name with a doc.

Meet Dr. Robert A. Dickey of Oklahoma City. In case you were wondering, no, his specialty isn't urology.

OE - I just noticed in an above post that JCL was quicker with the Dickey than I was.

Earthquake shaking him out of bed sorta gives that away, huh. Cool. Bobby was a skinny(er) lil dude back in Brooklyn.

Found Mike O'Connor. After bouncing around with 5 different teams in the Washington org in 2009, he penned a heart-wrenching screenplay about a quirky, lil' orphan no one loves, and he struck Oscar gold.

Yeah, he's like the famous Ron Hodges, economics professor.

This guy is a councilmember for a small town government in Australia.

David Wright is serving his sixth term on Council representing "C" Ward. David lives in Wollongbar and has lived on the plateau for 33 years. He is a school teacher at Alstonville Public School, teaching the gifted and talented class.

His particular interests on Council include a thorough representation of community groups and organisations; management of Council’s land resources and businesses, and the planning for sustainable and efficient water, sewerage, road and stormwater infrastructure.

Man Accused Of Ramming Girlfriend With Car
Woman Hurt In Sacramento Attack

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A man accused of injuring his girlfriend by ramming his car into hers more than 20 times was captured Monday after fleeing, Sacramento police said. Authorities said the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment after a rolling dispute that took place early in the morning on city streets.

Angel Efraim Pagan, 20, was taken to jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism, jail records show.

Authorities said Pagan drove his car into the woman's vehicle along Stockton Boulevard. He is then accused of driving his car into hers again near the intersection of 16th and P streets. Several parked cars and the patio area of a yogurt shop were damaged.

The man escaped before police arrived, but was later tracked down, police said. The woman is expected to recover.

Pagan's bail was set at $100,000. He is set to appear in court on Wednesday. Anyone with information on the case should contact Detective Hunkapiller with the Sacramento Police Department at 916-277-3833.
