Re: Jimi

Hey, that's one of my favorite Jimi Hendrix songs too. I love the street life. What city do you think that's filmed in? Do you think the little girl crying in the stroller has ever seen this video?

Re: Jimi

I'm thinking it was filmed in Paris. European license plates, signs are in French, probably the go down into the Metro at the end.

Could it be Montreux?

Re: Jimi

If you look at some of the signs, I'm thinking maybe in England?

I know I was thinking the same thing about the kids, they are about my age now... :)

Yeah, you're right it's in France somewhere I think.

I love the toupee scene too.

The money system at the market is French. Montreaux?

Does Montreaux have a subway?

Re: Jimi

It's a great song. I've been a Jimi fan since I first discovered him as a teen.

I like the version of that song from the "Radio One" sessions, no overdubs, the guitar is really crisp.

I'm unsure. There are definitely trains, some of which are accessible by long stairways, and there are some train stops below ground, but I don't think there's a traditional subway/metro there.

Re: Jimi

Eveything I know about Montreaux, I learned from Ian Gillan.
