Running in Enemy Territory with Team McGraw

Once again, I will be running in 2011 as a member of Team McGraw. I will be running the Broad Street Run in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 1st (if anyone is in town for the Mets/Phillies series that weekend, come and root me on!). Unlike the Marathon, the fundraising commitment for this race is minimal - $150. So I don't have to raise a huge amount of money. On the other hand, every little bit really makes a difference. I'm not looking to hit up people who so generously donated to my fundraising efforts last year. On the other hand, if anyone is looking for an excuse to show the Tug McGraw Foundation that Mets fans are an under-courted resource for them, this would be a good opportunity to do so :) Anyone who would like to help out the cause should Click Here.

With one week to go until the race, I wanted to bump this thread. Anyone who wants to support the Tug McGraw Foundation as I run in enemy territory as a part of Team McGraw can do so here. No donation is too small, and all are greatly appreciated. Thanks, and Ya Gotta Believe!

OK guys - I'm heading down to enemy territory to pick up my race bib and then root the Mets on. Help a sister out by making a donation here. It's your last opportunity to help a sister out while I run ten miles while wearing a Mets cap and my Faith and Fear in Flushing wristband!

I completed the course in 2:03:43. Not stellar, but respectable. I was kind of gassed after eight miles, so alternated walking and running for the final two. Pix to come later :) As always, I want to thank everyone who has supported my Team McGraw endeavors, be it this race or the Marathon fundraising. I am truly grateful to all of you!
