I saw it over the summer and enjoyed it. Not great, but entertaining and well acted.

It was OK. Too long. Not enough payoff.

You'll be asked to get past the fact that whole plot depends upon one character being almost impossibly stupid and naive, not to mention the Mad Men guy playing an incompetent FBI agent.

I did like the psycho Jeremy Renner.

It was OK to decent, I'd give it a 7 if I could so I'll give a four instead.

Ben Affleck I think is underrated at directing and acting , I like him , not as good as Gone Baby Gone.

This, almost to the letter.

It's like a poor cousin to his child-murder movie. This one was based on a Lehane book, too, right?

I, on the other hand, liked this one, and more so than most of the seemingly endless supply of Boston-area crime flicks of recent vintage.

I found the story of the lead character wanting to get out of the town and out of 'the life' believable enough. And some good side characters, like not just psycho Jeremy Renner but also the cocaine/meth chick, and from one of the final performances by Peter Postlethwaite as 'Fergie'
"We're gonna take down the cathedral of Boston"
