Due to a three-way tie at the back of the pack, we need to have a special run-off to determine who moves on to the knock-out round.

So you can vote for [u:2ld99mo2]up to two (2) shows[/u:2ld99mo2] that you prefer to see survive in this contest.
Polls will stay open for 48 hours.

Considering the fact that one of my offseason projects has been to catch up on the early seasons of The Office, I have to go for that.

This isn't getting much better. After my vote, it's a three-way tie.

Get Smart just pulled from last to first.

Mel Brooks knows people.

Barney back in the lead. Apparently the other shows have been sipping Yemana's coffee.

This pool is one step above celebrity deathmatch. So it must be good.

The Office just burst from third to first.

Small point, but... Steve Carell became a star playing Michael Scott. but when he got to the top, he used his juice to land the plum role of Maxwell Smart. He knows quality.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see him star in a big screen adaptation of Barney Miller.

He'd have to play somebody with the initials MS.

If this fails we go to an electronic version of rock-paper-scissors

maybe you need to run a round-robin with these three shows.

My votes brought it back into a three-way tie.

If it ends in a tie, the supporters of each show should pick an episode to put up mano-a-mano.

Throw WKRP in the mix and see what happens.

10-10-10. This is nuts.

I immediately jump to WKRP in that scenario.

Exactly, and what you drop becomes equally important.

If this plays itself out as a tie, I look forward to WKRP breaking the logjam.

I voted for Barney Miller only as well.

Re: World Series of TV Sit-Coms -- Special Weekend Run-Off

Took Get Smart only. The Office is good, but far from classic.
Barney Miller was almost classic (as was WKRP for that matter).
Get Smart was fucking classic!!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a call on my shoe I gotta take.

When I'm outside and I hear a traditional phone ring from I don't know where, I still instinctively think, "Excuse me, my shoe is ringing." That's why I voted Smart.

The other two may (or may not) have been funnier.
But Get Smart had Barbara Feldon. She got my vote, chief.

It occurs to me Agent 86 and Agent 99 foreshadowed great Mets years.
