PHPBB3 -> RSS?

Not being able to read the latest witty comments at work is bothering me. I am able to access RSS aggregators like Google Reader and it occurred to me that maybe an add-on could be installed so that users had the option of receiving the posts as an RSS feed. I wouldn't be able to post but at least I could keep up. http://phpbbservices.com/smartfeed/ Is there any way that someone with admin access can install this mod?

Probably not. All of the mod resources, now that Ben fixed the youtube, are currently focused on the new iPhone app due out in 2016.

Just being a little humorous, no reason to insult me. I don't think we CAN just go and install add-ons or mods or whatever on the fly. It's not our installation of phpBB, it's our service providers. Maybe you'll get lucky and Ben will chime in. Please don't get surly with him if you don't like his answer.

I forgot about all this until got a PM from Fman tonight. It works, I just set it up in Outlook, it's kinda cool. Thanks for your help with this Ben. Between asking qwkdotnet to help with this and then they ended doing the whole board upgrade I kinda zoned on the RSS thing and the link has been up for two weeks.

The link above the last post works if I click on it on a com- puter, but if I paste it into a reader app on my Crackberry I get an error message and it won't load. Any other Crackheads out there that can get this to work?

If anyone cares, I got it to work by going to the page on BB instead of using the link I made up top and generated it there and then pasted. Pretty cool.

Wow, I just read the 54 posts made since the last time I checked, maybe this morning, all in about 2 minutes, didn't have to click around 50 different links to see everything either. It's a brave new world.

I'm with you on that! I'd prefer to see a Music Forum, so I can ignore it as easily as I do the Fantasy Forum.
