Buckner's Bolero

Baseball Project Volume 2 released today. Highlight is "Buckner's Bolero"

Bob Stanley picked a pretty bad time to uncork a wild pitch
And I'm sure he's still thinking that you could have blocked it, Rich
Then the tying run might have not been tallied by Mitch
If one play killed the Sox, can you please tell me which

Re: Buckner's Bolero

I gave the whole thing a listen this morning, it's aight. Surf song about Ichiro, country song about Pete Rose, there's a song about Reggie and the Hold Steady guy singing about the Twins and a song about your Mom getting hit with a foul ball. I dunno. I do like the Buckner thing.

No to hi-jack this thread, but that right there is a beauty of Rdio. Listened to completely, and maybe forgotten just as fast, but you didn't have to shell out $13 extra bucks for that disappointment.

I suppose there are fewer adventures in ecstasy than in Bo Derek's Bolero.

I'm streaming and enjoying. "1976" was like it was written by Josh Wilker.

Hard to get a groove on a root sound when the writing and singing is passed around, but I sort of get a lock on a seventies Jersey thing, as if the E-Street Band and the Asbury Jukes were merged with Sprignsteen and Johnny and Steve passing the mic.
