Ashie was driving a 1963 white Beetle with 380,000 miles in 1977 and "So Into You" seemed to play hourly. And I never got sick of it.

Never heard "Alien" before. I like "Spooky" -- everybody likes Spooky -- but it's technically a cover and so I'm not sure I'd waste my one selection from Classics IV on the same mix tape -- a few of the musicians from ARS were also in Classics IV who first recorded it. Doraville is pretty nice, I'm sure Jimmy Carter liked it. But I think I'm gonna choose "Imaginary Lover"

Didn't know The ARS had some overlap with Classics IV. Good guitar solo there.

Outside of "Spooky," this was all previously beyond my ken. But they're all so smooth, I can feel my lapels getting wider and my shirt getting screen-printier. After considering "Doraville" and "Spooky," I'll go with "So Into You," because it's got a nice, hypnotic groove, and it seems like it would go the longest way toward getting my pimply ass laid in the roller-rink parking lot. By a girl!

So, what did he drive? How long was his hair? How wispy was his moustache? If the answer to question one is "a white 1963 Beetle," my mind will be officially blown.
