A lot has been going on with me lately professionally. There was a plan in place last week for a staff re-shuffle that got called off at the last minute, and this week things were up in the air on the second iteration of the plan. But as of today, it's official - I'm now the Systems and Correspondence Administrator for my office. I'm taking over IT duties as well as expanding my current duties with constituent correspondence. While I don't have prior IT experience, the Senate has an array of training programs for IT that I'll be put through in the coming days. I'm already enjoying the fact that I moved into a new cubicle with more privacy and more space. So, I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out.

Congrats, though I think I begged you years ago not to drink the Kool-Aid. Plan in place, staff re-shuffle, called off, up-in-the-air, second iteration of plan, it's official, S&C Admin, taking over duties not qualified for, Senate has an array to fix ... my brain is going to explode. This is all privately funded, right??
