A lot riding on MFP games in '11: I have a new colleague at work--a 28 year old MFP fan. In her office next door, she displays a MFP towel/flag and a MFP Mr. Potato Head. Today she said "at least you get Joe Blanton" as if that's the only game that the Mets have even a chance to win.

Specially with Beltran needing the DGANG rest. I like how it isn't even a consideration with Word Up Thole.

Beltran has good numbers against Halladay, and you want him starting on Friday, so really this means he should get off tomorrow.

Not mentioned in this thread: apparently (in the middle of the 8th?) there was another fan running on the field in Philadelphia. No taser action, unfortunately.
