Hughes DL'd with fake injury (no one's going to investigate that "dead arm"? really?) Nova fails again to get out of the 5th. Jeter grounded into a clutch DP and despite the pitcher throwing high to the SS who had to jump for it, was still thrown at first. Yanks down 5-1 to Texas. Seeing some Twitter buzz that Oswalt may have hurt his hip. They're up 3-2 over the Fishies right now. Oddly, Boston has a lead over Toronto. 3-2

I watched a four innings of the Phillie game on MLB network, Oswalt was cruising and throwing bullets.....what happened to him? Saw on MLB that Boston have made it official and signed Gonzo to an absurd seven year $154 million deal.....

I wonder if the Reyes contract ext will be announced soon, or if they'll wait until the minority sale is official..

lose 5-3 with the tying run at the plate. pfft..the Mets would've gotten the tying run to third before losing. Phils blow the game too. Braves don't win. Mets don't lose. good day for the division?
