Why do you like it?

Re: NCIS

I don't. Or, rather, I am completely apathetic to it. It doesn't seem anything other than mediocre.

Re: NCIS

I love it, I even wait for NCIS marathons to catch the episodes I missed when at work.
Some tv guides list it as a comedy, but I wouldn't go that far.
I like the interplay between the characters. And, speaking of characters, Abby (Pauley Perrette) is one of the most interesting ones on TV. How many other tattooed female goth scientists/ computer experts can you name?

Its like a slap in the head.
Just one thing. With all those stateside crimes involving sailors and Marines, I'm glad I was in the Army.

Oh, and my wife hates it for all the reasons I like it.

Re: NCIS

Interesting, MFS62, I could have been your wife until about 6 months ago, when I sat down and watched it with my husband while we were eating supper. And I absolutely fell in love with Abby and Ziva, and that kinda tentative young guy that works in the morgue with my old b/f (when I was about 5) David McCullum. We need more Abbys in the world!

I wonder to about the Navy cops arresting civiliians, even teenagers. But I guess they need to keep it under 60 minutes, hahah!

Love it. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and it's remarkably well-cast. I've even grown to believe Mark Harmon as a hardass.

Re: NCIS

I think the LA version is less believable. Gibbs, DiNozo and the others look like federal agents. LL Cool J and the guy who played Robin don't. And their office?

Re: NCIS

I don't really watch any network programs. The wife likes CSI and Law and Order SUV, and Criminal Minds, but for some reason she doesn't watch NCIS. I'm sure it's more of the same crapfest, formulaic episodes, predictable outcomes and stilted dialogue.

crapfest, - NO
formulaic episodes - Well, the good guys usually win
predictable outcomes - not always
stilted dialogue - absolutely NOT!
