Jamaica is an island. Not a desert island, but a densely populated one that has produced many great musicians. Foremost among these is ska/rock steady/reggae pioneer Desmond Dekker.

Complicated Desert Island Challenge for me because I'm usually asking you to decide between songs you already know and not these, only some of which I can identify as having even heard before. Prolly doesn't help that a lot of Jamaican music, as bright as it is, sounds pretty similar to me.

I've been on a Jamaica ska kick the past few days so I wanted to do something different. I'm still trying to decide between "Intensified," "Israelites," and "007."
