Very nice 3D!

This is my before photo - last year's Seder plate. Later on I'll post fresher Pesach greetings :)

A question from a goy:

I have two Jewish girls on my softball team. Both of them will have to miss Tuesday's game because of Passover, but both said they'll play in Thursday's game. I checked the calendar, and Thursday will still be Passover. Is Tuesday more "Passovery" than Thursday?

The first two nights are when the families have Passover Seder (Passover dinner).

We do a seder at our UU Fellowship; we went last year, and it was actually pretty cool, BabyWolf throwing up all over herself notwithstanding.

Re: Chag Pesach Sameach!

For the very observant, the first two days as well as the last two days are like the Shabbat - they would be totally unavailable.

For a great number of Jews, they observe Seders on the first two nights, and just refrain from eating bread during the rest of the holiday. Reform Jews and many others just have one Seder.

So to answer your queston BG, in a manner of speaking yes - while the entire holiday is Passovery, as you put it, Thursday is a part of the holiday that doesn't require as much observance as tonight through Wednesday does.

Here's my Passover gripe - non-Jews who make it a point to tell me just how delicious they think matzah is.

Trust me - when that's the only bread you get to eat for a week, it gets a lot less delicious really quickly.
