Heath Bell is at it again, having pitched 5.33 scoreless innings for the Licey Tigers. He's allowed 3 hits and struck out 7, walking no one.

I think Bell will be fine on the major league level as long as he gets consistent work.

Heilman made another start and went 5 innings, striking out 4 & walking 1. He allowed 4 hits & 2 earned runs, bringing his ERA down to 3.68 & his WHIP to 1.36.

Could be he's teaching him to hit the ball on the ground to take advantage of his speed. Could be a whole number of other things, too. It is an advantage when a player in Winter Ball is being worked with by one of the coaches in his organization. It gives the player a head start on Spring Training. Later

Well, Hernandez's IsoP is only 0.093 for his minor league career, so it's not that shocking . . .

HoJo apparently put the fear of God into Hernandez, who hit his first dinger of the off-season. That's 3 extra base hits now, for those of you counting at home.
