The worse this team gets the more Irish it gets, come now, for a second you going " Mark fucking Sweeney ?" and the next second you were going " Brian fucking Sweeney, who the hell is he?"

First, I thought "Mike?" (With a similar thought process to Edgy and Irish.) Then, "Maybe it's Mark or Ryan?" (Thinking, extra OF, minor-league contract... What Willie Harris was supposed to be?) "Brian" would have been 3rd or 4th on my Random Guesses list, after "Dylan" and "Gavin" and maybe "Kevin."

Interesting that Sandy's signing in-season add-on --- to cover for those covering for guys with injuries --- is out of the Atlantic League. Omar would tend to look to the Mexican League first, I think. Phillips maybe to Japan. Speaking of Japan, I wonder if they gave Brian Bannister a call.
