Ooh, he sassy. I like him. IIRC, he's the one who wasn't a baseball fan from wayback, but has worked his ass off to learn, and is approaching it from a Fangraphs-spiced tack.

I'm not sure I can think of an instance recently where Omar did something stupid at the trading deadline by 'pretending' they were in contention?

Wouldn't say that. I'd say that he's a little short on patience in suffering/answering foolish questions... but then, he's churning through 4-5 times as many questions on CoverItLive as Lennon, etc. do on their chats.
